The cold roll forming process gives a precisely dimensioned steel channel with greater strength than can be attained with other manufacturing techniques. Apart from the engineering advantages of the lighter channel, there are cost savings in material, transportation, and handling. Cold roll formed channels also provide flexibility in production.
